What did I think about the Entrepreneurship and Business Creation?

Definition.

The definition of this word I learned in school. And it was :
Entrepreneur - is a person, who takes all the risks of the new business creation.


Now.

Risk.
I belive, that Risk -
- is a spirit of life;
- is an essential of every business, every start (even if the baby does its first step in life, he is risky to fall);
- is something, that stimulates to win and come to risk again (i mean that, of course, as intellectual people, we are always trying to minimize the risks, but it still exhists)

New business. And my attitude to this process.
All of us know, that Creating of new business - is a huge process: starting from the brainstorming and seeding the idea, end processing to the expansion of working company.

I am not talking about the tactics, just want to explain my strategy and attitude to things.
These are some of my rules:
1. Everything is possible.
2. Define your goals.
3. Partners are important. 2+ brains are always better than 1.
3. Define the strategy.
4. Define the steps for achieving the goals.
5. Do.
6. Do not stop thinking.
7. Do not stop dreaming.
8. Vizualize (it concerns accounting as well) the past,current, and future.

And the most important thing in creating and running business - is ENJOYING not only the results, but the process as well.


To Everyone (one of the books, i liked).

Everyone knows the feeling, when you read a book, you like it, and you understand, that the author was (and is) thinking in the same direction, and of course, giving you more ideas and opens horizonts to think and review.

That happened to me, when I read the book (the funniest thing, that when I was reading it, I was not thinking about the authors background and studing in Sweden. But after the second review of it, I applied to the JIBS :) )

I am talking about the book called "Funky Business: Talent Makes Capital Dance" (by Jonas Ridderstrale, Kjell Nordström, Kjell Nordstrom).

I like it. Its a pity, that I do not have it printed with me. If someone is interested, I can post my favourite phrases from this book. Or I would like to hear the opinion of those who has read it.
